History
Tai Chi Chuan is an Integral martial art developed over 1,000 years ago in ancient China. It is based upon the five thousand year old Yin-Yang philosophy of classical Taoism which forms the basis of traditional Chinese medicine as well as practices of both internal and external martial arts. The evolution of Tai Chi over the centuries was naturally developed on the basis of Chinese philosophy, including Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching, the Pa Kua system of I Ching, and Sun Tzu's strategic military classic The Art of War.
Practice
 Tai Chi is a continuous moving meditation and complete system of exercise. It is practised daily by millions of people all over the world. Through deep breathing and stretching, Tai Chi enhances awareness and concentration, develops strength and flexibility, improves relaxation, reduces stress, and promotes fitness, wellness, and energy. Tai chi is typically practiced for for reasons: to promote health, happiness, and well-being, and to serve as a therapeutic technique for recovering from accident, illness or disease, to enhance athletic performance and skills in sports and as a highly effective form of martial arts.

Tai Chi Kung Fu
In Chinese, "Kung Fu" means, literally, man with skill, while "Wu Shu" refers to martial art. Tai Chi Kung Fu classess introduce the student to the true internal martial art and teach the student how to cultivate and use chi energy to bring forth strength and power for self-defence in combat. The student will learn pre-natal breathing techniques, palm and fist strikes, joint locks, and hold and throwing techniques.
